Userthink consultants created an intelligent tutoring system for the maintenance crew of the SH-60 (Seahawk) helicopter. We analyzed the cockpit and galley controls of the helicopter and met with top naval research scientists at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in Washington, DC to gather requirements for this initiative. Based on our research, we designed a user interface mimicking the inside of the helicopter and developed the backend functionality to create an online H-60 helicopter simulator. Our consultants led a team of ten employees to design a successful computer-based tutor with intelligence to wrap around the simulator for use on laptops of naval personnel.

SpringCM already had an online documentation management system.  However, they began to receive customer complaints about its usability and SpringCM wanted to increase the functionality of the application.
Working closely with top stakeholders, Userthink gathered requirements and designed a robust and easy-to-use application.

Userthink’s design is now live at http://www.springcm.com

Userthink was asked to create icons for the new application and to create cascading style sheet templates to be used by the Polycom internal development team on a new piece of video conferencing software. Working closely with the product design group, Userthink created cascading style sheets to be used by the Polycom development team as templates for the application user interface. We also designed over 40 custom icons for use in their software product.

Working in conjunction with Creative Covergence, LLC., Userthink led the design effort for a web-based training application using WebDVD and touch screen technologies. The initiative required a high level of knowledge of training techniques and on-line tutoring. Our consultant is well versed in these areas, having earned a Master's degree in cognitive psychology with a specialization in training and on-line tutoring.

Because of Userthink’s experience in developing usable applications with integrated tools such as Infragistics, Namescape challenged Userthink to design three innovative visual themes that were cutting edge and highly usable.

The client was overwhelmed with satisfaction when the product was delivered in half the anticipated timeframe.
